Daniel Snowdon starts as Executive Director of ESTS

Daniel has been appointed as the Executive Director of the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons and has taken up the position this month.  He has come with 12 years of experience as Executive Director of the International Continence Society from 2012 - 2024.

His main task is replacing the current Executive Director who was in position for 23+ years. He mentioned to us "There will be much to learn and consolidate. My main aims beyond stability are to focus on the broad educational portfolio ESTS offers including webinars and hands-on surgical courses. Working with the Board on a strategic plan for the next 3 years is also top priority."
