About the role
The Project Manager (PM) is the leader of a project team, responsible for all aspects of project management, including the delegation of designated tasks to the project team members within the I&D department as well as other ERTICO departments. He/she also contributes to the ERTICO strategy of Bringing Intelligence into the Mobility of goods and the overall promotion of ITS in Europe through participation in ERTICO activities and new developments.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for technical and administrative issues during project proposal development and for successful submission process and contributes to project proposal concept definition;
- Identifies potential new Partners and contributes to the Partners acquisition process;
- Contributes to the proposal-building process by writing and compiling technical, scientific, administrative, and financial information provided by the Consortium, including a description of work, activity planning, and budget;
- Ensures efficient organization of activity coordination;
- Official point of contact for the EC and the project consortium members;
- Manages and coordinates the technical project activities with the consortium members, including the EC Annual review, and plans and monitors project activities and ensures the deadlines are met;
- Supervises project dissemination strategy and activities in collaboration with the Project Support Manager, the Project Communication officer, and the Consortium Members including the development and implementation of work plans and the technical program for events, conferences, demonstrations, and workshops.
Skills, Competencies & Experience
- 3 years of experience in EC project administration and technical coordination and equivalent;
- Knowledge in eFTI, eCMR, Physical Internet, multimodality, Digital Twin, ITS, and telecom-related fields are assets;
- Has good project management skills;
- Activity knowledge Expertise (technical and business) with an overall understanding of administration, RTD, and Deployment aspects;
- Excellent English written and oral skills& knowledge of one or more other languages is an asset;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel) and the Internet;
- Excellent knowledge of Project Management Tools;
- Facilitator skills during proposal proposal-building process and able to build consensus.
Required Qualifications
- Master's and PhD Degrees in Equivalent Automotive Engineering Transport Engineering and Road Engineering.
