About the role

Operations and Finance Manager at Solar Heat Europe plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's operational efficiency and financial health. This position involves a blend of strategic planning, financial oversight, and operational management to support the organization's mission of promoting solar thermal energy.

Responsibilities

• Overall budget strategy and management;
• Membership relations and invoicing;
• EU projects acquisition and reporting;
• Financial secretariat support to the certification scheme of the sector (Solar Keymark Network);
• Accounting and legal matters;
• HR coordination, including contact with Secretariat social;
• Relations with suppliers;
• Management of Market data and interaction with main partners.

Skills, Competencies & Experience

• 3-5 years experience;
• Solid understanding of EU project funding, application ,and reporting requirements;
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
• Good command of Microsoft suite and Excel;
• Experience with and understanding of membership-based organizations (aisbl notably);
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team;
• Interest in renewable energy and energy decarbonization;
• Good level of English and French;
• EU citizenship.

Required Qualifications

• University Degree in Relevant Accounting and Finances
