About the Organisation
SolarPower Europe is a member-led association representing the European solar PV sector. SolarPower Europe aims to ensure that more energy is generated by solar than any other energy source by 2030 and lead our members to make solar the core of a smart, sustainable, and inclusive energy system. We are an award-winning association with over 300 members spanning more than 40 countries. We aim to support the scale-up of solar energy globally by engaging with policymakers in Europe and emerging markets to reduce the barriers to solar deployment and international cooperation projects.
About the role
The Office Coordinator role at SolarPower Europe is likely focused on managing the organization's daily administrative and operational needs. This position often includes coordinating office logistics, ensuring smooth office functionality, managing schedules, handling communication, and supporting team members in various capacities.
Responsibilities
- Organize internal meetings and events;
- Provide reception to our distinguished visitors;
- Reception of office deliveries;
- Ensure our working environment stays healthy, tidy and an overall supportive place for our team;
- Assistance in the coordination of on-site meetings including managing our relationships with caterers and other meeting suppliers;
- Management and ordering of office supplies;
- Ensure the smooth functioning of specific office equipment such as the coffee machine, and copier (with assistance from IT) and preparation of our all-hands meeting and its remote connection;
- Internal celebrations and Team drinks;
- Team for meetings and office activities;
- Planning and coordinating with external maintenance and cleaning teams;
- Assisting the Events team with external event coordination,
Skills, Competencies & Experience
- Dynamic with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and take initiative when needed;
- Attention to detail;
- Understanding of general administrative and office activities;
- Work with others as a team and also happy to work on your own;
- Microsoft Office savvy;
- Fluency in English. Fluency in at least one other EU language would be an advantage.
