About the role

As a Junior Project Manager at IBS Consulting Srl, you will support the delivery and management of various client projects, ensuring they meet objectives within scope, budget, and timeline. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with some project management exposure, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Assist in defining project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align on project requirements.

Task Management and Monitoring:

  • Monitor project progress and update relevant documentation.
  • Identify and report any potential risks or issues to senior management.
  • Ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities within the project.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Prepare regular status reports for clients and senior managers.
  • Communicate updates effectively across all project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up action tracking.

Quality Assurance:

  • Assist in ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Participate in post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

Skills, Competencies & Experience

  • Knowledge of major European funding programs for industry (e.g., Horizon Europe, LIFE Programme, Innovation Fund, RFCS, Digital Europe).
  • 2 years of experience in writing and/or managing European funding projects.
  • Proficiency in office automation tools (MS Word, xls, ppt).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Italian language (written and spoken) - mandatory
  • English language (written and spoken)
  • Training certificates or similar on EU funding.
  • Good writing skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in Economics Scientific Technical and Social Sciences
