AI in Action: A Case Study for Association Events and Engagement
As AI is increasingly becoming part of the daily operations, associations explore new ways use AI tools to engage members and deliver value. Yet with limited internal experience and a fast-growing number of options, knowing where and how to begin can feel overwhelming. Many organisations are keen to explore AI but face questions around vendor selection, audience response, and how to balance new features with meaningful engagement.
Join James Whitaker, Senior Manager at Society of Petroleum Engineers International, who will share practical insights from several years of integrating AI into SPE’s Virtual Career Pathways Fair. Using ExpoPlatform’s AI networking tools alongside public AI platforms, he will explore the outlines the decision-making process, what worked, what didn’t, and how the approach has evolved. The seminar offers a clear and experience-based starting point for associations looking to test or scale AI within their own events or member programmes.
