Identifying the challenges and the opportunities to enhance your events offering
Events are a key part of how associations support their members and represent their sectors. But as industries they represent evolve and member expectations shift, many associations find their current event offerings no longer fully align with their purpose or strategy. Reviewing your portfolio can reveal both missed opportunities and outdated commitments — yet many associations don’t take the time to step back and reflect.
Join Rodney Cox, Director of Flagship Events at International Gas Union who will share a framework to audit and review your events portfolio and discuss ways to build in ongoing flexibility. We’ll explore how to evaluate whether your current activities meet the needs of today’s members and stakeholders, and how to build a more flexible, responsive approach to events going forward. You’ll be encouraged to ask challenging questions — including whether you created your association today would our events portfolio look anything like it currently does.
