In 2022, the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) successfully implemented a LinkedIn strategy that significantly enhanced their impact, visibility, and presence. AIJA saw a remarkable 31% increase in followers, growing from 13,490 in January to 17,750 by December—achieved organically, without paid promotions. By analysing 2021 data to identify engaging content and optimal posting times, AIJA not only boosted their follower count but also attracted over 600 new members, solidifying their reputation. Continued efforts in 2023 and 2024, focusing on community engagement and international exposure, have further increased their followers to over 25,000 by June this year.

Community Manager, International Association of Young Lawyers
Oreste has worked at AIJA since February 2020 and has previous experiences in the European association environment. As AIJA Community Manager, he sets, plans and implements social media and communications campaigns and strategies, developing new ways to engage with the digital community.
He also manages the virtual elements of AIJA hybrid events and online activities. He worked on the digital transformation project of AIJA and launched their community app.
Oreste holds a Master in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe and he is specialised in European Affairs. An Italian native-speaker, he is also fluent in English and French and speaks a bit of Spanish.
