We are delighted that the CCH - Congress Center Hamburg will be hosting the Associations World Congress in 2025.
The people of Hamburg are not only known for their straightforwardness, cosmopolitan attitude and warmth but also for their understatement. But when it comes to the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg, understatement just doesn't do it justice. Why? Because the new CCH is unique. As one of Europe’s largest and most modern congress centres, with 36,000 square meters of available space, it sets a new standard. The number 12,000 has obtained a special meaning here: there are 12,000 square metres of event space in total, another 12,000 square metres of foyer area, and a total of 12,000 visitors can attend events at the CCH at any given time. Its up to 50 multifunctional halls for congresses and other events of any kind from 500 attendees upwards are spread across four levels and three event sections called West, Middle and East. Each of the three sections has its own entrances and exits. Flexibility3, simply put. What is more, the building is also sustainable and accessible without barriers.
Our centrally-located event campus delivers unforgettable trade fair and congress experiences right in the middle of the city. The botanical garden “Planten un Blomen” connects the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg with the exhibition campus and all other adjacent areas, forming the city’s most extensive event complex.
The CCH is one of Europe’s top convention centers. It has long been a tradition for people from around the world to come here to attend top-flight science and business conventions, conferences or galas.

Unmatched spaciousness: With 3,000 seats, Hall 1 is Hamburg’s largest auditorium with fixed seating. Its brick walls, which are under historic preservation protection, have been restored and are shining in beauty as on the very first day. The elegant and comfortable seats were custom-designed for the CCH by Italian manufacturer Poltrona Frau and are arranged in ascending rows. The 280 square-meter stage can be enlarged to as much as 365 square meters.

Our second hall with permanent seating by Poltrona Frau, Hall Z has capacity for up to 965 seats. Located on the third level of the CCH East section, it boasts 820 square meters of gross surface area and an impressive eight-meter clear height.
