RAI Amsterdam
Established in 1893, RAI Amsterdam is now one of Europe's leading international exhibition- and conference venues with more than two million visitors yearly. In 2015, over 30 national and international association congresses were being held in the RAI. RAI Amsterdam is the largest conference centre in the Netherlands boasting 106.500 m2. The venue has 11 multifunctional halls, 2 Auditoriums, 1 ballroom and 70 meeting rooms. In 2018 our 650-room hotel nhow Amsterdam RAI will open, a 4* on site HQ hotel with a iconic design. The RAI is uniquely situated, 12 minutes from the city centre and 8 minutes from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, has a tram stop just outside and its own train/metro station. Moreover, all of Amsterdam’s cultural and nightlife, canals and attractions are within easy reach.
Aware of our environmental impact and ready to tackle it, we are determined to build a future that benefits organisers, exhibitors and (inter)national visitors, as well as our neighbours, exhibitors, employees, stakeholders, the city of Amsterdam and its residents. Our ambitions for the coming years is to drive our business foward and continue to innovate, create opportunities, and increase our positive social impact. On our path to full sustainability, our immidiate goal is to mitigate negative impacts and to work towards social, environmental, and economic balance in all facets of our business. From logistics to waste management, from food to stand construction, from service offerings to our venue developments, we continue to integrate sustainable thinking and processes into as many aspects of our business as possible. Our CSR approach focuses on four key areas: venue & infrastructure logistics & mobility circular operations communities
