CD Congress Centre Ljubljana
CANKARJEV DOM– THE BEST PARTNER FOR EVERY EVENT An In-house PCO, CD Congress Centre Ljubljana is a venue situated in the heart of Ljubljana, within walking distance from all major hotels and the city’s attractive Old Town. It can provide either partial or turnkey services. With 22 multi-purpose halls and conference rooms, 4500 sqm of exhibition space, and a maximum capacity of 2000 delegates in the plenary hall, Cankarjev dom is the largest purpose-built congress centre in Slovenia in terms of auditorium-style seating, and among our most established venues on the international conference market. Easy access by road, train or air – Jože Pučnik airport lies only 20 kilometres–is vital for hosting national and international business and science related meetings. CD is member of IAPCO and ICCA.
As an in house PCO in the biggest national Cultural and Congress centre we have professional technical equipment and staff to cover all technical (multimedia/IT/sound/light etc) aspects in the venue and on other locations, we also have our in-house cameramen and cameras, along with the technical/staff support from our outside partners for bigger events.
And to connect physical and digital attendees we’ve been using the OnAir platform (part of EventsAir - a platform for virtual/hybrid events, with all a wide range of options, such as virtual poster sessions, exhibition, meeting hub, gamification all in 2 or 3D) and have a team of young and motivated employees for (studio) production with 2,5 years of experience in setting up and carrying out virtual and hybrid events via OnAir platform.
Thanks to our rich experience, we are fully qualified for the planning and execution of all kinds of events. The CD Congress and Events Management has been providing services as a professional organiser of conference, congress and other events since 1980.
In keeping with the green policy, CD has adopted energy-saving measures and integrated new, environmentally-friendly technologies and materials. Additional contribution to the quality of life in the city is the installation of beehives on the roof of the congress centre.
