About our events

The AAE has been running Conferences, Congresses, Summits and Seminars since 2006, and its current events include:

Congresses

Multi-stream large-scale educational in-person conference for mutiple roles, with social events and networking. The Associations World Congress takes place in mainland Europe and the UK Associations Congress within the UK outside London.

Association Executive Forums

A single topic one-day event addressubg a vital issue relating to enhancing services and the association, with advice, case studies, discussion and sharing, and expert speakers.

Leaders Symposiums

The Symposiums provide an opportunity for the Executive heads and the elected Chair or President to define annual priorities and work better together. They are two-half-day events, and take place online in January. Each is presented and facilitated by association leadership experts with over 20 years experience of these types of events.

Seminars

Weekly online events with one or two speakers and Q&A, for 55 minsutes at lunchtime. Speakers are from associations and consultants. Recordings are available online for members. 

Showcases

Showcase are one or two-day events with multiple presentations from consultants on how to select a supplier / service followed by multiple show case videos of how suppliers have enhanced an association's systems, services or events. 

Member Meetings

Online meetings for those with specific roles or areas of interest, where association executives share issues and exchange ideas to resolve them. Topics are proposed by delegates and each event chaired by an association expert. These are open to members only. 

Masterclasses

Masterclasses are training courses tutored by experts, with discussion, exercises and reflection. They are from 1hr to 3 hours, or two sessions of 3-4 hours. These are open to association executives and charged per person. Some masterclasses are available on-demand with videos, guidance documents and asyncronous discussion forums with the tutor. View >>
