Steve has over two decades of experience working for, and with, membership organisations.
After a decade working as Membership Director for two Chambers, winning numerous awards in the process, Steve moved across to Qdos Consulting (now Quest Business Services) who provided a key member benefit to over 120 Chambers and trade associations.
So, the next decade was spent working out how to get members engaged with the services the membership organisations were purchasing. The services became a core part of the member benefits portfolio and were well used. In addition, for most of this decade, Steve successfully ran the sales team, which was a really valuable experience.
In 2023 Steve founded Member Boost, which aims to help membership organisations to achieve their membership objectives through improvements in engagement, retention, new member recruitment and raising revenue. Basically, if the organisation is not achieving their membership objectives, Steve can tell them why and what they need to do and then also help them to implement their recommended actions…just like a Doctor!
