Great content on offer at Associations UK Congress

Delegates have a packed agenda to look forward to at this year’s Associations UK Congress in Manchester on 14 – 15 December.
Whether it’s Brexit, technology or digital communications you are interested in, this year’s programme has been designed following consultation with delegates and feedback from last year’s event. There’s even advice on ‘making your association elite’ from Katherine Grainger the Olympic rower.
This year’s streams include:
Drivers of change – a focus on associations helping members evolve and progress in a changing landscape.
Community Builders – looking at ways of building communities and finding the best ways to recruit and retain members.
Planners – innovative ways of building, growing and funding events that are opportunities to communicate with members.
Networks – the future of fascinating innovative exhibitions as a source of income and industry network creation.
Communicators – amplifying brands and creating winning campaigns to raise the profile of your association and your members.
Broadcasters and Educators – Using high quality video to broadcast to members and for use with CPD education.
Stream presentations will include ‘Understanding how you can monetise your video content’ and ‘The future of video from an Associations perspective’ by Ben Dales Online Media Executive at IABM, and ‘Brand amplification - Tips to make sure your digital strategy amplifies your brand and engages your members’ by Nick David, Head of Digital, Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
With a focus on ‘growing your organisation’, there will be practical sessions on social media, sales skills, volunteers, strategic planning and member data.
