Association Leaders’ Forum: Leadership, the role of disruption and how to improve team performance
What to expect:
The Association Leaders’ Forum is a safe environment where you can have confidential conversations, talk openly about your experiences and work with other leaders to drive your own and other associations forward.
In the morning the group will focus on disruptive leadership and how to survive it. Anne Godfrey, Chief Executive, CIEH has had good, and not so good of what she refers to as transformational leadership. She will share her experiences in her last three roles and then as a group we will devote time to working through techniques to avoid failure.
After lunch the group will focus on how to work with an under-performing team, building plans based on the collective experience to overcome current challenges that you, as a group of leaders are facing.

The Association Leaders’ Forums are contributory, interactive, and combine group discussions and peer-to-peer collaboration, questions and answers. This time is to focus on core areas of importance to delegates. It is a mix of challenge-share, discussion, calling out and replication. The process is designed for delegates to leave with solutions to their existing challenges.

This session is designed to enable you to learn from the collective experience around you. The focus will be on understanding the challenges of an under performing team or team member, what to do to remove these barriers and how to develop a strategy to build a high performing team that delivers outstanding results.
