Speaker Info

Jo Pearson is a Senior Producer with ITN Productions' Industry News Production Services team. For more than 20 years, she has written, produced and directed a wide range of broadcast documentaries, news and current affairs programmes and corporate films. Her work has included one-hour natural history and observational television documentaries, with subjects ranging from indigenous culture to urban lifestyles, extreme sports, gun control and the protection of wilderness. Trained as a newspaper and television journalist and producer, Jo has seen a sea-change in the power and the relevance of video story-telling for companies and organisations. Over the years, she has interviewed and worked on location with Prime Ministers, celebrities, actors and people in the street. She has extensive experience as a media trainer, and enjoys putting people at ease, and coaxing the best out of even the most inexperienced or reticent contributor. Jo was a senior prime time newsreader and presenter on Australian television for fifteen years. She has extensive experience in using dramatisation and reportage techniques to enhance corporate story-telling and create engaging bespoke training and marketing content.

Martin Shepherdly
Martin Shepherdly has worked in video production since it became commercially available in the early 1980s. Initially this was in the corporate world, producing video content for conferences, events and training purposes. In 2008 he co-founded BeThere Global, with the core purpose of providing associations with the services and consultancy needed to extend their reach in communications, marketing, and events, using video, and live / on-demand streaming. In 2016, he co-authored Remotely Engaging: How to reach new audiences by breaking out of the conference centre
